"Oh noooo....Mistral!". That was our first reaction when we passed Aix en Provence. Looking down to the Etang de Berre, we could see that it was blowing at full force. Entering Beauduc in Mistral is not a good idea, so we decided to visit one spot we discovered in our Kite Atlas. It is located near the city of Marignane and supposed to offer onshore Mistral!
So we gave it a go and it turned out to be the best Mistral session ever. To our surprise, there was a nice little camping right next to the spot. For sure a place we will return to when Mistral blows.
The evening was cold and the mistral was blowing harder and harder. That was the time when we again whished for it to stop. And our wish became truth. In the morning, it was gone.
Now up to Beauduc!
