The Surf Ark is born

It has been hectic weeks. Manu still needed some urgent fixes and improvements. After some fixing here and some tweaking there, things started to look good. Manu is in better shape than ever. The only thing left is to add some must have surf mobile features :)

First up was the adding of some cool surf stickers. The most important one was placed on the back of the car, right above the tailgate. The famous Hawaiian hibiscus combinded with the beautiful word "Aloha". What does the word "Aloha" actually mean? Frankly, it is very difficult to translate to English. Often it is said that English is too poor do describe it. I personally like this approach most: "Facade, face or appearance, of the breath of life".

Additionally I wanted to add a surfboard carrier. Not only for the looks (I do admit that I quite like the looks of surfboards mounted outside the car...), but mostly because we otherwise simply do not have enough space to fit all of our surf equipment.
It wasn't easy to find a ready surfboard carrier which would fit our car. After almost 2 weeks of research, I found a shop in Germany able to deliver me my dream surfboard carrier. Installation only took an hour. Simply beautiful that surfboard mounted on the ouside of the car...isn't it :)

The Surf Ark is born. Very soon, the adventure begins. Less than two weeks to go.
